Three months after the rebuild,
Arros QD has 2.7× last year's traffic.
Chad rebuilt arrosqd.com and launched it on 26 June 2026. In the first three full months, the site recorded 27,911 sessions against 10,422 in the same months of 2025, a 167.8% increase, with every month at least 2.4× the year before. Organic Search went from 321 to 2,904 sessions a month to become the largest channel, and by late September the site was averaging 473 sessions a day.
The headline numbers
Each month compared with the same month of 2025, on the previous site.
Month by month: last year vs this year
arrosqd.com sessions. Comparing the same month a year apart holds the season constant, so the growth is the site, not the calendar.
July is the month covered in the first-month case study. August and September held at around 2.5× the year before, and new users grew even faster than sessions (+149.6% in August, +154.2% in September). The growth is new guests finding the restaurant, not the same people visiting more.
The growth isn't bought
Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns started in July 2026. Take out every paid channel (Paid Search, Paid Social, Display and Cross-network) and the site still more than doubled.
From known to found
Sessions by channel, September 2026, with September 2025 for comparison.
A year earlier, 78% of visits were Direct: people who already knew Arros QD and typed the address. Organic Search was 9%. Now Organic Search is the largest single channel, Direct has held steady in absolute terms, and Paid Social, Organic Social and AI assistants, which sent nothing a year earlier, are all bringing guests in. The old site served the restaurant's existing audience. The new one finds it a new audience.

What Chad found that the dashboards didn't
Reading the data properly turned up a measurement gap that most restaurants using SevenRooms will share without knowing it.
- Booking counts include bookings that never touched the website. SevenRooms' own booking page carries the restaurant's analytics tags, so a booking made from Google Maps' Reserve button or a bookmark is counted exactly like one made through the site. A raw "bookings" figure in GA4 looks like a website conversion number and isn't.
- Most paid-social clicks were skipping the website. Of 4,192 Paid Social visits in September, 3,315 went straight to SevenRooms, which hides both the visit and what it led to. Routing those clicks through arrosqd.com, or tagging the links, makes paid social measurable.
- Raw totals overstate traffic. Since the booking widget was embedded on 19 August, the analytics property also records sessions on sevenrooms.com (4,854 in September). Every figure on this page is filtered to arrosqd.com only.
It is easy to report the inflated version of each of these. Separating them is what makes the traffic figures above trustworthy, and it sets up the next step: reconciling bookings with SevenRooms' own reservation report and bringing in ad spend, so bookings can be tied to channels.
Timeline
The rebuild itself is covered in the first-month case study.
- 26 June 2026 — Chad's rebuilt site goes live, with AI crawlers allowed and restaurant, menu and organisation schema in place.
- 6 and 15 July 2026 — Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns start.
- 19 August 2026 — the booking button becomes an embedded SevenRooms widget, and completed-booking tracking switches on.
- September 2026 — the /lunch page, supported by a Paid Search lunch campaign, grows from 28 sessions in August to 529.
- Every month — Chad produces a GA4 impact report for Arros QD, the source of every figure here.
“Chad lets us move much faster than we could with previous agencies. We've cut out the middlemen, so we now have direct access to our online visibility and can execute high-value improvements more quickly and accurately.”
How we measured this
- All figures are Google Analytics 4 sessions filtered to arrosqd.com, from Chad's July, August and September 2026 impact reports, compared with the same months of 2025.
- GA4 recorded unusually few sessions across every channel from 24 August to 13 September 2026. Those days are included as recorded, so the August and September figures are conservative.
- July is shown as recorded. Without one suspicious referral source (480 sessions on 24 July), July is still up 192.0% on July 2025.
- Completed-booking tracking began on 19 August 2026 and counts all SevenRooms bookings, so booking numbers are not presented as website conversions.
