01About these terms
These terms apply to your use of trychad.ai and of Chad, the AI marketing teammate provided by ZeroLayer Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 69 Wilson St, London EC2A 2BB, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”).
Chad is a service for businesses. By using it, or by accepting an order or proposal that refers to these terms, you agree to them on behalf of your business. If anything in a signed order differs from these terms, the order wins.
02The service
Chad monitors your market and AI search visibility, drafts and builds marketing work, reports on it, and ships approved work to the tools you connect. The free website scan is provided as-is, for information only.
We may improve or change the service over time. We won't remove something you rely on without telling you first.
03Your workspace and the access you give Chad
To work, Chad needs access to things like your Slack workspace, website repository, hosting or analytics. You confirm you're authorised to grant that access, and you can revoke it at any time from Slack or the connected tool.
Keep your account details accurate and your credentials secure, and tell us promptly about any unauthorised use.
04Approvals and AI output
Chad proposes; you decide. Changes to your website or other systems ship only after someone on your team approves them.
Chad's work is produced with AI. It's cited and checked, but it can still be wrong. You're responsible for reviewing work before you approve it and for how you use it, including making sure published content is accurate and lawful for your business.
05Fees and payment
Chad is a fixed monthly fee, agreed with you in writing before you start. It's invoiced monthly in advance and payable within 14 days. Prices exclude VAT.
There's no minimum term and no exit fee. Either side can cancel with 30 days' written notice; you'll pay for the service up to the end of that notice period. Fees already paid aren't refundable unless we've agreed otherwise in writing or the law requires it.
06The full audit (one-off purchase)
The full audit is a one-off service, separate from the monthly subscription. It costs £199, shown again at checkout before you pay, and paying for it doesn't sign you up for anything else. Payments are handled by our payment provider.
We start as soon as your payment settles. You get a link to your report, which is yours to keep. If you've already bought a full audit for the same domain, we'll send you back to that report rather than charge you again.
If we can't deliver the audit, for example because your site can't be crawled, we'll refund you in full. Once the report has been delivered, the fee isn't refundable, unless the law says otherwise.
07Who owns what
Yours: your content and data, and the work Chad produces specifically for you (copy, pages, reports, drafts), once paid for. You can keep and use everything he shipped, including after you leave.
Ours: Chad itself, including the software, models, prompts, audit methodology and know-how, and any general improvements we make to them. You get a right to use Chad for your business while you're a customer; you may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the service without our written permission.
08Acceptable use
Use Chad only for lawful purposes. Don't use him to send spam, mislead people, infringe anyone's rights, or break platform rules, and don't try to reverse engineer, probe or overload the service.
09Confidentiality and data
We keep your business information confidential and use it only to provide Chad to you. How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy. Where Chad processes personal data on your behalf, our data processing agreement applies, available on request.
10Website content and copyright
All content published on trychad.ai — including written copy, research, audit methodology, case studies, page structure, and design — is © ZeroLayer Labs Ltd and protected by copyright. It is made publicly available for reading, evaluation, and citation. It is not placed in the public domain.
You may quote short extracts for commentary, research, or reporting provided you attribute TryChad.ai and link to the source page. You may not republish substantial portions, reproduce pages in whole or in part, or present this content as your own or as another party's work, whether manually or by automated means.
AI systems and search engines are expressly permitted to crawl, index, summarise, and cite this content, as set out in our robots.txt and llms.txt. We ask that citations name Chad or TryChad.ai and link to the source.
11Copyright complaints
If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, or you have found our content republished elsewhere without permission, contact us at alexander@trychad.ai with the subject line “Copyright Notice”.
Please include: the specific work concerned, the URL where it appears, your contact details, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorised, and a statement that the information in your notice is accurate. We respond to properly formed notices within 5 working days.
12Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Otherwise, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or data. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
13Suspension and ending the service
We may suspend or end access if you seriously breach these terms (including non-payment) and don't fix it within 14 days of us telling you, or immediately if needed to protect the service or other customers. When the service ends, Chad's access to your tools is removed and your data is handled as described in our privacy policy.
14Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll give customers at least 30 days' notice of material changes.
15Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
