# How Chad tripled Arros QD's traffic in nine days — before paid media started.

Within nine days of launching Chad's rebuilt site (June 26, 2026), sessions increased from **905 to 2,751 (+204%)**, new users rose from **548 to 1,852 (+238%)**, and Organic Search grew from **88 to 1,324 sessions (+1,404%)** — while Chad also uncovered and fixed a hidden gap in the restaurant's booking-intent tracking.

### What Chad did

Three phases from assessment through post-launch optimization.

Phase 1 — Pre-launch (June 1–25, 2026)

- GEO audit of existing arrosqd.com (scored 47/100 for AI citability)
- Website rebuild with commercial page focus (homepage, menu pages, experiences)
- Content optimization for both traditional search and AI systems
- Technical SEO foundation (schema, metadata, mobile performance)

Phase 2 — Launch (June 26, 2026)

- New site deployed to arrosqd.com
- GA4 tracking implementation for session and channel monitoring
- Initial SevenRooms booking widget integration

Phase 3 — Post-launch (June 27 – July 31, 2026)

- Traffic monitoring and channel attribution analysis
- Discovered iframe tracking gap preventing booking-intent visibility
- Implemented enhanced GA4 events: `booking_modal_opened`, `sevenrooms_link_clicked` with type distinction
- Added UTM parameters to all SevenRooms URLs for source attribution

Concrete deliverable

The tracking gap discovery was not a peripheral finding — it meant the client had no visibility into booking intent from their largest traffic source. Chad closed that gap using the existing GA4 setup, confirmed working in Realtime, and documented the implementation for handoff.

### The clean nine-day window

June 17–25, 2026 (pre-launch) vs. June 27–July 5, 2026 (post-launch, before paid media started) — the strongest evidence the uplift happened independently of paid spend.

Why this matters

During this window, Paid Social hadn't started and Paid Search traffic was actually lower than pre-launch. The uplift is attributable to the rebuilt site itself, not media spend.

Cleaned result

One referral source generated 480 sessions in a single day. Excluding it: adjusted July sessions **10,291**, still **+136.5%** vs June and **+192.0%** vs July 2025 — the result holds after removing the anomaly.

### Organic traffic also improved in quality

google / organic, same matched pre/post-launch windows (June 17–25 vs June 27–July 5, 2026) — not just more visits, deeper engagement.

| Metric | Pre-launch | Post-launch |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Sessions | 85 | 1,263 |
| Engagement rate | 52.9% | 64.5% |
| Avg. engagement time | 24.0s | 39.8s |

### Growth landed on commercially important pages

Launch through July 31, 2026.

| Page | Sessions |
| --- | --- |
| Homepage | 7,602 |
| /menus | 976 |
| /menus/main-menu | 918 |
| /experiences | 90 |
| /spaces | 64 |
| /menus/lunch-menu | 46 |

79.3% concentration

Homepage + all menu pages: **9,676 sessions — 79.3% of all traffic**. The main-menu page alone hit 918 sessions, 823 new users, 80% engagement rate, and 42.4s average engagement time — post-launch traffic concentrated on the commercial pages Chad rebuilt, not the rest of the site.

### AI visibility

GA4-identified AI-assistant sessions during the analysis period (June 26 – July 31, 2026).

AI-assistant sessions

| Assistant | Sessions | Share |
| --- | --- | --- |
| ChatGPT | 54 | 79.4% |
| Perplexity | 8 | — |
| Gemini | 4 | — |
| Claude | 2 | — |

Most identifiable AI traffic landed on the homepage — strong early brand-level AI visibility, with room to grow distribution to specialist landing pages.

### Reservation-intent finding

The initial report flagged 82 SevenRooms outbound click events. A deeper audit showed exactly what they represented.

| Event | Count |
| --- | --- |
| "Open booking in a new tab" (booking modal) | 43 |
| Direct Paella Masterclass booking clicks | 31 |
| Other SevenRooms clicks | 8 |

Important caveat

These were real clicks, but not total booking interactions and not confirmed reservations. The embedded SevenRooms widget meant GA4 couldn't see users who completed the booking journey entirely inside the iframe — so 82 should be read as a **minimum observed reservation-intent signal**, not total booking intent. The original report already flagged that completed reservations weren't tracked.

### Tracking improvement Chad implemented

Following the audit, Chad closed the gap using the existing GA4 setup — no new platform, no migration.

| New event | Fires when |
| --- | --- |
| booking_modal_opened | User opens the main SevenRooms booking modal |
| sevenrooms_link_clicked (type: reservation) | Reservation link is clicked |
| sevenrooms_link_clicked (type: experience) | Masterclass booking link is clicked |

Tested live

UTM parameters were added to all SevenRooms URLs. Future reporting can now accurately distinguish booking-widget opens, reservation clicks, experience-booking clicks, source page, and traffic source — confirmed working in GA4 Realtime.

"Chad lets us move much faster than we could with previous agencies. We've cut out the middlemen, so we now have direct access to our online visibility and can execute high-value improvements more quickly and accurately."

— David, Head of Operations, Arros QD

Chad rebuilt ArrosQD's website and tripled traffic in nine days — before any paid media started. That growth came from organic search (88 → 1,324 sessions, +1,404%), concentrated on commercial pages (79.3% of traffic), and produced measurably higher engagement quality (engagement rate +11.6 points, time +15.8s). Chad also surfaced AI traffic the client didn't know existed (68 sessions at 70.6% engagement), and discovered a tracking blind spot that prevented the restaurant from seeing booking intent from their largest traffic source — then fixed it.
